History

Racing has been in my family for years.It started with my PeePaw (Larry Hicks) running what is now considered Vintage karts. He passed his knowledge on to my dad (Bryan Hicks) and my uncles (Waylon Hicks, Keith Hicks,and Cody Hicks). My dad (Bryan) recently retired so he could pass the hicks racing legacy on to me. I started practicing and getting the hang of my kart in 2015 at my home tracks of Woodleaf Speedway, located in Woodleaf, North Carolina and at Bear Creek Raceway, located in Dobson, North Carolina.  I won my first race at Bear Creek just weeks after first sitting in a Kart.
